Trustly appoints new Chief Operating Officer as it continues to capitalize on growing global business opportunities

Stockholm, Sweden, July 13, 2021 – Trustly, a global leader in Online Banking Payments, has appointed John McLane as its new Chief Operating Officer to further drive execution speed, innovation, and customer-centricity as the company continues to capitalize on growing global business opportunities.

John, who will also continue to hold the position of President of Trustly’s North American business, is an enterprise technology veteran with experience in driving profitable growth and helping enterprise customers to best engage and serve their consumers. In his new role, he will lead the business operations across EMEA and North America and drive the global Trustly People agenda.

In addition to John’s appointment, Sara Berg, Jonas Palmquist and Alexandre Gonthier will also transition into new roles in the Group Management Team. Sara Berg will transition to the role of Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer. Jonas Palmquist will become Chief Strategy Officer to drive the company’s long-term strategic growth and expansion agenda and Alexandre Gonthier will stay on the Group Management Team as Senior Advisor and Executive Chairman of Trustly North America.
